Summary

Not my favorite Bridgerton book/ I found this one stressful- but the books are always fun！

Solid end to the series This was the most dramatic of the series — and that’s after Colin’s balcony speech。 I enjoyed it， even though Gregory’s obliviousness was 。。。 puzzling to me。 On an emotional level。 Would recommend for a fan of the Bridgertons， to wrap this series with a bow。

O this book might just be my favorite。 It had romance， intrigue， mystery， and blackmail。 And finding out the difference between infatuation and love。 It is my opinion after reading this book that the former belongs to the eyes and the latter to the soul。Read it and let me know。

Book 88 towards my goal of 285！ 5/5 stars for this Regency Romance read！ Such a great ending to the Bridgerton series。 I had so much fun with this family！ Gregory is no different <3 Absolutely loved his love interest， and they had a great storyline！ Cannot recommend this series enough！

One of the best in the whole series。 Plenty of interaction with the Bridgerton clan， which is what I enjoy most in these books， especially Hyacinth of course， but also Kate， Anthony， Colin and Violet。 Most original story line too of falling for the wrong person， blackmail and interrupting a wedding （not a spoiler as it’s the first chapter！）。 My dislike was overusing “I love you。” I was reminded of the scene in Singing in the Rain when Gene Kelley’s character says it over and over again and the a One of the best in the whole series。 Plenty of interaction with the Bridgerton clan， which is what I enjoy most in these books， especially Hyacinth of course， but also Kate， Anthony， Colin and Violet。 Most original story line too of falling for the wrong person， blackmail and interrupting a wedding （not a spoiler as it’s the first chapter！）。 My dislike was overusing “I love you。” I was reminded of the scene in Singing in the Rain when Gene Kelley’s character says it over and over again and the audience at the advance viewing mocks him for it。 Also， Lucinda is an awful name to be paired with Gregory。 Should have just stuck with Lucy。 Overall a very enjoyable series of Regency Romances。 Quinn is a great storyteller。 Her books have humor and are delightful to read。 。。。more

OMGoodness。。。。。 I need tissues 😢😢😭😭😭😭I have never read a book（s） that included 2nd epilogues before。 Julia Quinn leaves you with a happy heart for a book ending and then in the 2nd epilogue grabs your heart， squeezes it and then makes you cry crocodile tears。 This was the last book in the Bridgerton series and I am truly going to miss this family。 I loved this series and listened to the audiobook of all eight and Rosalyn Landor was a phenomenal narrator！ I really liked how each book focused on a OMGoodness。。。。。 I need tissues 😢😢😭😭😭😭I have never read a book（s） that included 2nd epilogues before。 Julia Quinn leaves you with a happy heart for a book ending and then in the 2nd epilogue grabs your heart， squeezes it and then makes you cry crocodile tears。 This was the last book in the Bridgerton series and I am truly going to miss this family。 I loved this series and listened to the audiobook of all eight and Rosalyn Landor was a phenomenal narrator！ I really liked how each book focused on a different sibling， with the family members still playing supporting roles。 She did all the voices and her tone was perfect。 This book was about Gregory the seventh of eight siblings。 He’s the last to find love and get married。 I’m looking forward to seeing how the Netflix series plays out。 The first season matched the first book in that it was Daphne’s story。 Book two was Anthony’s， and the second season is to be his story and so on。 I don’t think I’ve ever read regency romance before， but if it’s all written like this with humor， deep love， romance， passion， strong family ties and a bit of drama， I’m a big fan now。 I will definitely read more of Julia Quinn’s books。 。。。more

I’m so glad I’m done with this series of recycled cliches and sex scenes。 The only thing that would tempt me back into this world would be running a detailed analysis on how many phrases， keywords， and pieces of dialogue the author used in each of the eight books， because I honestly couldn’t tell you one story that stood out from the others。 They were the same mediocrity each time。
